A Message from the President of Response Media, Inc.

I created Response Media in 1982 influenced by a song and a prayer (Please read the Mr. Businessman story) and a $19,000 home equity loan to fund the idea. The business plan was crafted with simple but compelling goals. Publish a magazine that would include hundreds of quality, well-known national, regional and local advertisers and direct mail into key zip code markets our customers want to target.

Today, with over half a million consumers being reached monthly in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough Counties, “Saver’s Digest” is a leader in distribution and market penetration for West Central Florida. We also partnered with the nation’s leading mailer in a strategic alliance that benefits our advertisers with low mailing rates. With “Saver’s Digest” we are able to target mostly owner occupied homes, condos, town-homes and some upper-income, multi-family households in zip code market zones in and around our customer’s trade areas…an advertiser’s dream!

Response Media has been in business since 1982. Over 38 years we have seen literally hundreds of local and many well-known national coupon and consumer magazines come and go. Since 1990, several of our former competitors were acquired or merged their advertisers into “Saver’s Digest” further strengthening our brand. In today’s economy, mergers and acquisitions are the most effective, safest and secure way of organic growth. We continue to look for opportunities to form such alliances.
